In this laboratory, undergraduate students pass through several sections; in the anatomy section students are assigned to dissect and prepare specimen, the previously prepared specimen section, the photographic anatomy and museum section. However, postgraduate students are oriented more to research and forensic medicine.

Research in the department is diverse and addresses problems in cell and developmental biology, neurobiology, cancer biology, vascular biology, stem-cell biology, molecular medicine and gene therapy. To facilitate the process of studying diseases and treatments students examine the specimen, it's organs, and human body by several models. These models are humanized models, plastic models, palatinate specimens and perfused specimens. The lab is equipped with a dissection table, a surgical lamp, an X-ray illuminator, 4 C Refrigerators, 0 C Freezers, - 86 C, Perfusion machine, laboratory safety cabinets, and a glass washing machine.
