- Candidates should have received their PhD not less than five (5) years before.
- The applications are open all year round.
- Applicants must obtain a formal Consent (letter of acceptance) from an IRMC faculty, ready to mentor the fellow’s research in his/her lab, you can access the resaerchers from here.
- Successful Candidates will be offered an interim faculty appointment title of, “Post-Doctorate Fellow in (title of the approved Post Graduate Fellowship Program) , for example: Post-Doctorate Fellow in Molecular Biology)
- The duration of this fellowship interim appointment will be for 1 year and can be extended to a maximum of three years, depending on the performance and progress of the Fellow.
- The Salary Support for the successful fellow will be equivalent to 75% of the entry level for a Lecture appointment in the discipline of the entering fellow in addition to the fringe benefits.
- To Continue the fellowship for the next year, the candidate must submit a detailed progress report to the fellowship Program office one month prior to the extension. This report must include comments from IRMC Mentor.
