Introduction

The Follow up Directorate was established by a directve from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and  was implemented by HRH, the Deputy Prime Minister in decree No. 1107/m on  21-5-1410 AH/12-20-1989.  This Directorate is responsible for inspection related tasks throughout the University.  

The Directorate is responsible for improving the efficiency of the administrative work at IAU and to ensure that the administrative matters are handled in a productive, timely and accurate manner.  The Directorate routinely conducts inspections in order to identify, analyze and make recomendations for any areas throughout the University that need improvement in order to develop efficient work processes that are in accordance with the approved rules, regulations and proceducres that will contribute to the overall sucess of IAU. Another area that the Directorate is responsible for is monitoring the attendance and punctuality of IAU employees.   

Affiliation: This directorate is directly affiliated with the President of IAU.

  1. Follow up on work performance throughout the various sectors of IAU in order  to achieve the highest level of total quality.
  2. Explore the levels of commitment througout the University by assessing how well they have achieved their work goals according to the prescribed regulations, bylaws and procedures.
  3. Contribute to the improvement of performance by enhancing strengths in strategic plans.
  4. Propose innovative solutions for problems and continually work on improving any areas of perceived inefficieny.  
  5. Follow up on the completion of work assigned to employees in the executive administration.
  6. Demonstrate the concepts of transparency and accountability among IAU employees.
