The General Administration for Investment and Revenue Development (IRD-IAU) was established by the decision of His Excellency the President of the University No. (42/74746) dated 4/12/1442 AH, which stipulates amending the name of the Investment and Revenue Development Department to the General Administration for Investment and Revenue Development under the umbrella of the Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU), to be able to manage, and develop investment opportunities in a way that contributes to increasing university revenues through leasing and investing buildings, facilities and lands owned by the university in line with the regulations governing financial affairs in universities amended by University Affairs Council Resolution No. (1/4/1442) dated 9/14 / 1442 AH

Mission

Develop university investment opportunities in a way that contributes to increasing the university’s revenues in the long run.

Objectives

  1. Finding new investment opportunities for the university
  2. Creating an effective participation with the private sector and civil society institutions toward IAU-Facilities investment
  3. Raising the level of efficiency in collecting university investments
  4. Preparing and updating a database of investment assets and designated sites and determining their activity
  5. Develop an investment policy in coordination with other departments in the university and the competent authorities
  6. Marketing for investment sites within the university
  7. Coordinating visits with investors and businessmen within the university
  8. Preparation and processing of contracts for investors (long-term & short-term investment)
