About the 1st “Annual Scientific Forum of Science College”

Excellence in research outcomes for global competition within the requirements of national development.   

Mission

Enhancing scientific research mobility and knowledge exchange among researchers to consolidate the quality of scientific research and its outcomes in basic sciences and their applications to serve the community within the priorities of scientific research in the Science College. 

Objectives 

Based on the second strategic goal  of the College of Science: excellence in scientific research and innovation, and in order to enhance the concept of research mobility in the various departments, the first scientific forum of the College of Science will be launched during the period 11- 16/11/1444 H corresponding to 31/5- 5/6/2023  to present and share the results of research publications for all academic disciplines at the Science College, to achieve the following objectives: 

  1. Enhancing the quality of scientific research and its outcomes in basic sciences and their applications to serve the community within the priorities of scientific research in the Science College. 
  2. Providing an annual enrichment platform to display scientific outcomes and knowledge exchange between researchers from different categories and disciplines. 
  3. Developing students' skills in scientific research, communication, presentation, and discussion.   
  4. Supporting the scientific and intellectual contributions by providing the opportunity to recognize the research interests in various departments encouraging interdisciplinary research within the scientific research priorities of the Science College. 
  5. Introducing scientific production of the College of Science to the external community to open channels of cooperation between the community and the college.
