Course Description
This course aims at developing students' awareness of the principles of the economic system in Islam. It includes the following concepts: the definition of economy; the need for economy to follow the rules of Islam; economic problems and their solutions in Islam, the private and public property in Islam; the Islamic view of economic freedom and its applications; production; consumption and spending; the economic policy in contracts and exchanges, economic development.
Students are also required to memorize the 28th part of the Holy Koran.
