Course Description
The course covers topics associated with the concept of psychology of school adjustment including: its importance to student and school community, contextual factors that affect students’ psychological adjustment, with emphasis on biological and environmental factors. In addition, symptoms of psychological maladjustment (frustration, conflict, anxiety, fears, and psychological defense mechanisms), types of psychological disorders resulted from maladjustment, diagnosis and achieving appropriate adjustment in schools.
