Course Description
This course aims at enabling students of analyzing problems and finding suitable solutions using visual programming, in addition to understanding language's basic concepts and qualifying students to teach programming subjects using visual basic within government computer curriculum.
This course includes introduction to programming languages in general and their types, problems analyzing, designing programs via visual basic languages, development environment in visual programming, designing fronts and setting properties, dealing with both variables and constants, logical and arithmetic operations, writing application programs, massage and input boxes, if statement, branching, procedures, functions, looping (while-wend, do-until, do-while and for loop) , dealing with arrays and lists, ways of dealing with images and shapes in addition to dealing with menus, forms, and reports. Finally, a brief introduction on object-oriented programming is given.
