Student Rights (Guided Student)

  • Discussing the guided student 's previous educational achievement, current academic status, the work plan for the next semester, and inquiring about everything related to his academic future.
  • Direct or indirect communication with the academic supervisor through the available communication channels.
  • Obtaining help and advice when preparing the academic schedule for the next semester and during the course registration period.
  • Obtaining guidance and counseling continuously until graduation.
  • Identifying the services and areas of support available at the college and university to benefit from.
  • Dealing with his files and information confidentially and privately.

Student Responsibilities (Guided Student)

  • The student is primarily responsible for his academic performance, and the supervisor's role revolves around helping, guiding, supervising, and giving solutions.
  • The student is responsible for meeting with the academic supervisor to assist him in preparing the schedule for the next semester and selecting the appropriate courses according to the degree plan and his academic status.
  • Reviewing and responding to electronic academic supervision requests in SIS.
  • Knowing the university's rules and regulations, the degree plan of the program, the requirements of the university, college, graduation, registration plan and study schedules through the directories, the website of the college and university, and the academic supervisor.
  • Familiarity with the details of the academic calendar for academic operations (registration, withdrawal, apology, postponement...).
  • Knowing the academic supervisor and the dates of the academic supervision hours and ways of communication with him/ her Office - e-mail - phone.
  • Persistence in meeting the supervisor according to the agreed dates and commitment to attend the meetings.
  • Consult the academic supervisor to develop an alternative study plan if circumstances arise such as (withdrawal - failure - change of major) to ensure that all requirements for graduation are completed on time.
  • Notifying the supervisor of any changes or difficulties (physical / academic / health / psychological / social / family) It may affect his academic performance.
