This is an introductory course to Building Information Modelling (BIM), both in theory and practice, via several types of parametric modelling related to construction engineering and management (CEM). In this course, students will learn to use and apply various BIM techniques and software to one or more CEM related applications including quality assurance, cost & schedule control, facility & risk management, sustainability, and safety & security. The students will also learn to develop a project management plan using BIM using Autodesk Revit (or similar) software.
