To introduce students to the basic concepts and methods of Calculus. Topics include: Functions and graphs, polynomials,
exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, Limits, continuity, and differentiability of functions of one variable.
Techniques of differentiation. Implicit Differentiation. Local extrema, first and second derivative for local extrema. Concavity and
inflection points. Curve sketching. Applied extrema problems. L'Hopital's rule, and applications. Integration, definite and indefinite
integrals, fundamental theorem of calculus, integration by substitution, integration by parts, improper integrals, and applications.
