Course Description
This course contains: Concepts of Demographic The Measurement of Mortality, Comparing Mortality Experiences, The Life Tables, The Measurement of Fertility, and The Analysis of Migration.
Course Objectives & Outcomes
The objectives of this course are to:
- Define the importance of statistics in demography
- Identify different demographic models.
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Cite statistics in demography.
- Describe measures of fertility.
- Outline measures of mortality.
- List measures of migration.
- State the life time tables.
