Engineering Design for Process Safety

Engineering Design for Process Safety aims to provide an overview of process safety engineering fundamentals for various processing facilities The course combines workshops, case studies and theory to teach core areas of a process safety framework and fundamentals of process safety. Topics will include the importance of process safety, a model for process safety, risk and hazard identification, evaluation, and assessment, understanding the consequences of toxicity, fires and explosions, asset integrity, process safety performance and emergency response.
