Course Description
A calculus-based introductory course to fundamental phenomena in physics for science students. Topics covered include units, physical quantities and vectors, motion along a straight line, Newton’s laws; work, energy, and associated conservation laws; properties of matter; and fluid mechanics. The accompanying laboratory work is designed to illustrate the material discussed in the lectures.
