Course Description
The study of the origins of the Ayyubid and Mamluk State and role of the Ayyubids in uniting the Muslims against the Crusaders and the restoration of Jerusalem. The role of the Mamluks against the Mongols and their response and continue Jihad or holy war against the Crusaders.
