The aim of this course is to address the fundamentals issues related to industrial emergency management and response covering aspects of design of process and installations for emergency responses. The course will cover concepts of process safety, planning of emergency response activities; inspection, operating, testing and maintenance activities of industrial; application of models; chemical parameters; control of incident in process installations and warehouses; legislation of fixed installation and transport of dangerous goods and crisis communication. Case studies of emergency management and emergency response: lessons learned and mitigation measures will be discussed by instructors and invited speakers from industry and public sectors. Moreover. Site` visits will be planned and undertaken, to  introduced students  to a real implementation of industrial emergency management & response.
