Course Description
The course enables the student to learn the procedures for the maintenance and regulation of patient health information records in non-hospital medical care facilities and record keeping systems. It also aims to specify the role of the Health Information Manager as a consultant in each of the health care settings. Supervised visits to different health information departments, where students observe and inquire about points covered in the theoretical part can be arranged.
