Course Description
This course introduces students to the principles and concepts of cost and managerial accounting. Topics include classifications of manufacturing and non-manufacturing costs, direct and indirect costs, cost accumulation and allocation, cost accounting reporting forms, job order and process costing systems, activity based costing system, joint and by-product costs, standard costing system and variance analysis.
