Course Description
This course includes the pharmacology of drugs acting on the central nervous system, respiratory system, classification of antimicrobial and anti parasitic drugs – their mode of actions and pharmacology, pharmacology of antifungal, antiviral and anti-neoplastic drugs, signs and symptoms of commonly occurring poisoning and their management, drug interactions and drug use during pregnancy and lactation.
This clinically oriented course will enable the student to apply her knowledge in various disease conditions and to look for various side effects and drug interactions.
