Course Description
This class will present reviews of the analysis of strain in pavement structure, the analytical method in pavement structure design, analysis of traffic load and its influence to pavement structure, advanced pavement material and its analysis method. An introduction to software for evaluating pavement structure will also be a part of this course. Students come away with the knowledge and understanding of various concerns regarding alternative methods of pavement design, elements and materials which are used for the construction of road transportation infrastructure, together with its supporting equipment.
