Television Photography

Course Main Objective

- To develop skills of using the professional camera
- To recognize parts of the camera- camera movement- types of shots- camera angles
- To highlight his technical ability to indoor and outdoor shooting
- To connect between camera movement and employing the shots for dramatic or news considerations.

• Recognizing the importance and characteristics of TV, the TV studio, camera parts, operation and accessories
• Types of shots according to their size and functions
• Types of shots according to camera movement
• Types of shots according to camera angles
• The importance of lighting in TV for indoor and outdoor shooting
• Practical applications in studio (the chroma)- indoor shooting
• Practical applications- outdoor shooting
• Assignments for implementing tasks in TV photography.
• Discussion and assessment of students' coursework
