Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University announces the offering of 3 academic positions with the degree of (professor / associate professor) according to the attached statement, which it wishes to fill through the general job competition, and the application period will be for 6 days, starting from 8:30 am on Sunday, 22/7/1447 AH (corresponding to 11/1/2026), until 2:30 pm on Friday, 27/7/1447 AH (corresponding to 16/1/2026), through the university's website only.

Instructions:

  • Applying for the available positions is not considered a final nomination.
  • The applicant should first review the job vacancy list, and determine the required department and specialization that is compatible with his/her qualifications.
  • After determining the suitable position, the submission will be through filling out the job form via the Job Application Gateway on Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University's website. After completing the application, the applicant must login to his/her personal account and upload all required documents.
  • Following up on an application is through the University's website only by clicking on the request follow-up link, which will be constantly updated.
  • The specialized college is responsible for informing applicants of their request status and personal interview dates.

For professor positions, the following conditions are required:
  • Must have the specified academic degree related to the required job position attained from a Saudi university or international universities approved by the Ministry of Education with uploading the Ministry's equivalency certificate.
  • Specialization extension in all degrees (Bachelor, Masters, Ph.D.) for the required job position.
  • Faculty membership at the university or other recognized universities of at least eight years, including at least four years of associate professorship.
  • To have been scientifically promoted to a professor from a Saudi university or another recognized university.
  • Publishing a research for each year after obtaining the last scientific rank, provided that the journal is issued by a local, regional or international scientific or research institution, or a journal listed in the databases of ISI- Web of science or Scopus.
For assistant professor positions, the following conditions are required:
  • Must have the specified academic degree related to the required job position attained from a Saudi university or international universities approved by the Ministry of Education with uploading the Ministry's equivalency certificate.
  • Specialization extension in all degrees (Bachelor, Masters, Ph.D.) for the required job position.
  • Experience in faculty membership at the university or other recognized universities of not less than four years after appointment to the rank of assistant professor.
  • To have been scientifically promoted to associate professor from a Saudi university or another recognized university.
  • Publishing a research for each year after obtaining the last scientific rank, provided that the journal is issued by a local, regional or international scientific or research institution, or a journal listed in the databases of ISI- Web of science or Scopus.
