College of Arts Celebrates the 95th Saudi National Day with a Variety of Cultural and National Activities.

The College of Arts at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University celebrated the 95th Saudi National Day through a series of diverse events that involved academic departments, specialized units, student clubs, and teams, reflecting a deep sense of pride and patriotism.

At the academic department level, the Department of Information Science, through its student committee, presented virtual national contributions that expressed pride in heritage, commitment to values, and determination for the future. The Department of Arabic Language participated with a video featuring a poem by poet Jassim Al-Saheeh titled “A Knight Called the Nation”. Meanwhile, the Department of Sociology and Social Work contributed with an event titled “The Social Salon”, which highlighted the values of national unity.

Within the specialized units’ efforts, the Unit for the History of Eastern Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, organized a photo exhibition to mark the occasion. The Foundation also published a book titled “The History of the Saudi National Day Commemoration”, authored by Dr. Muneera Al-Shammari, head of the unit, documenting the history of this national event.

As for student clubs and teams, the Arts Student Club, in collaboration with the Safeen Advisory Team, organized a celebratory program featuring various participations that embodied loyalty and belonging. The students also expressed their gratitude to all who contributed to the nation’s development and progress through a video titled “Thank You”. In addition, the college’s Nadeem Media Team produced a national video titled “Our Nation is One, and Our Love is One”, portraying the unity of national sentiments from across the Kingdom.

Through this diversity, the College of Arts presented a comprehensive national celebration, combining the initiatives of academic departments, the efforts of specialized units, and the participation of student clubs and teams, offering a unified image of pride in national identity and renewed loyalty to the leadership and the homeland.
