The meeting was part of the efforts of the College of Arts to prepare new students for university life and provide them with the information and guidance that support the launch of their academic journey.

The College of Arts at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University organized an orientation meeting for its new students for the academic year 1447 AH. The event was attended by Her Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Mashael Al-Okaly, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jamlaa Al-Marri, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the Deanship of Preparatory Year and Supporting Studies, Dr. Amal Al-Qahtani, along with several college leaders and faculty members.

The meeting was part of the efforts of the College of Arts’ Academic Affairs, represented by the Academic Supervision Unit, to prepare new students for university life and provide them with the information and guidance that support the launch of their academic journey, while enhancing their engagement with the college environment to ensure a rich and supportive learning experience.

The program included several introductory segments, such as a speech by the Dean of the College, a talk by the Academic Supervision Coordinator Dr. Nermin Al-Qahtani, an overview of study regulations and university services, an introduction to support and learning services, student activities, and an orientation on the University Counseling Center programs and library systems, along with a Q&A session to address students’ inquiries.

The program also included a guided tour of the college facilities, accompanied by an exhibition introducing the new students to the academic departments, volunteer clubs, and the Student Council at the College of Arts.
