The Culture and Arts Unit has launched series of diverse workshops aimed at developing students’ creative skills.
The Culture and Arts Unit at the College of Arts, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, has launched its activities for the academic year 1447 AH through a series of diverse workshops aimed at developing students’ creative skills.
The first workshop, entitled “Hands and Threads: Basics of Embroidery”, was delivered by Ms. Bayan Khalid Amsiyeh at the College of Science Art Workshop, in collaboration with the Anamel Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students’ Activities, as part of the celebration of the 2025 Year of Handicrafts. Another workshop, “The Art of Human Stories”, was presented by Professor Dr. Mostafa Al-Dab’ in Training Hall (2) at the College of Arts Administration Building.
These events reflect the commitment of the Culture and Arts Unit to nurturing literary and artistic talents, while providing spaces for creativity and cultural engagement within the university.
Next week, the unit will host a cultural gathering under the Cultural Café program to discuss the book “The History of the Saudi National Day” by its author, Dr. Munirah Al-Shammari. This initiative is part of the unit’s ongoing efforts to enrich national awareness and strengthen the spirit of belonging.
