The University University Mosques and Prayer Halls Care Unit, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Human Resources, announces several work opportunities for the university's mosques and prayer rooms. These opportunities include: (Imam and Khateeb/Imam/Muezzin/Khateeb). The university invites those who meet the required criteria to apply.
Applications will be accepted for eight 8 days, from Sunday,15/7/1447 AH (January 4, 2026) to Sunday, 22/7/1447 AH (January 11, 2026), exclusively through the university's website.
Requirements:
- Applications are limited to university staff (residing in university housing only). Applications from outside the university will not be accepted.
- Applicants must be Saudi citizens.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Applicants must hold a high school diploma or higher.
- Applicants for the position of Khateeb must hold a university degree in Islamic studies.
- Applicants must have memorized the Holy Quran or parts of it.
- Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence, particularly regarding the rulings on acts of worship.
- Applicants must be proficient in Arabic Languege.
- Applicants must fully commit to the assigned duties.
- Applicants must have a good reputation and conduct, and must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or breach of trust, nor dismissed from their previous employment by a disciplinary decision.
- Applicants must pass the written exam, personal interview, and medical examination.
Job Benefits:
A fixed financial reward will be provided to all candidates, subject to approval by the relevant authority. In addition to rent exemption (for residents only)
