Course Description
The course provides a comprehensive introduction to cybersecurity in the context of information security management in addition to legal, ethical, and professional context. The course introduces cyber laws & cyber policies as a part of cybersecurity awareness to address the main issue of cyber privacy. In terms of the information security management, the course focuses on the managerial aspects of information security and assurance including the information security governance, developing security policies and its implementations strategies, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, information security program assessment and metrices, protection mechanisms, Physical Security, Security Maintenance and the Management of Digital Forensics.
