Course Main Objective

To make students acquainted with the grammatical rules in the following subjects: non-redundant, redundant and quasi-redundant prepositions, annexation, infinitive replaces verb, noun of infinitive and its action, agent-noun, superlative forms, patient-noun, verbal adjective, noun of surprise, comparative and superlative adjectives, style of praise and blame.

Course Learning Outcomes

  • 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
  •    1.1 Recognize the grammatical rules relating to nouns with reduced ending, infinitives replace verbs, derivatives, noun of surprise, preference, praise and blame.
  • 2. Skills 
  •    2.1 Distinguish the grammatical rules of the studied subjects through analyzing various texts.
  •    2.2 Use communication and information technology and learning resources and apply them to the grammatical rules discovered in the concerned texts.
  • 3. Values 
  •   3.1 AAssume individual, collective and leading responsibility and respect personal relationships upon performing various grammatical assignments. 
  •   3.2 Perform the grammatical assignments observing scientific research ethics and academic integrity as well as values of responsible citizen

Course Content

  1. An introduction: about the course and its requirements. Nouns with reduced ending: noun in the indirect case with a preposition.
  2. Elimination of “perhaps” and its conditions and positions.
  3. Annexation
  4. Ruling of elimination of the annexing and the annexed, separation of the two annexed, rulings of the annexed to the 1st person’s “Yaa” and its parsing
  5. The infinitive replaces the verb.
  6. The agent-noun replace its verb; the superlative forms; patient-noun.
  7. The verbal adjective 
  8. Noun of surprise
  9. Comparative and superlative adjective.
  10. Nouns of praise and blame.
