The course is designed to equip civil/construction engineers to be more proficient in evaluating and selecting a contracting system that is most appropriate to the requirements of the work and conforming to the economic, legal, cost, time and quality requirements and managing it efficiently and effectively. More so, the course introduces the students to the principles and philosophy of construction law, operational aspects of the various project procurement & contracting systems, law of tort, professional liability, dispute resolution techniques, the Saudi Arabian Public Works Contract and Government Tenders and Procurement Law.
