This course introduces the fundamental concepts of road safety. Students will develop a detailed understanding of road safety issues, human behavior, and identifying and solving road safety problems. Also, the course has been designed to teach and train safety engineering students on the needs, policies, methods, and procedures required for enhancing road safety measures. The objective of this course is to gain a clear understanding of why road safety is important, how to achieve improvements, and be proactive in preventing accidents before they occur.
