Course Description

This subject enables students to acquire the necessary skills in clinical situations and to understand and to undertake sonographic examinations of head, lower and upper limbs and abdominal vessels. It is designed to involve them within the working environment of clinical sonography normal scanning procedure. The course will cover vascular ultrasound where students should be able to scan and identify the vascular structures and the anatomy, disease processes, physiology, and the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal pathology related to these areas.
