Course Description
This course introduces students to Decision Support Systems. It deals with the methodologies of using and manages DSSs. Moreover, data analysis and modeling algorithms for such systems are also introduced. The DSS categories and ways to build easy interfaces are also to be discussed in this course.
Course Aims
This course aims to:
- Define the Decision Support Systems concept.
- Define the system requirements
- Determine the organization need of such systems.
- Introduce the general structure of DSSs.
- Differentiate between DSS and other management systems.
- Know different types of Decision Support Systems.
- Design Suitable DSS user interfaces
- Know the different DSS design algorithms.
