Course Description

This course is designed to give the students a practical insight into the discipline of advertising. Students will learn how advertising applies to the creative process within agencies to create compelling and integrated advertising campaigns for diverse markets and media. Students will also learn about the role of advertising in marketing communication as well as its impact on society. Emphasis will be on the creative agency brief, strategic positioning, the value of brands, types of research, how to identify target prospects, and the different forms of media that reach them most efficiently.
