Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the environment and different patterns of animal behavior as well as the following topics: the definition of behavior, the importance of studying animal behavior, the evolution of behavior and the importance of an adaptive environment and an adaptive animal, foundations of neural and hormonal influences on behavior, the physiology of behavior, the relationship with the environment and the effect of various environmental factors in the emergence or strengthening particular behaviors in animals and patterns of sexual behavior and its importance in the science of animal behavior.
