Course Description
This course addresses the general definition of databases systems and their components. It also provides a definition of the relationship of database systems and other programs with the Management Information System. Scheduled to review the basic concepts of database management systems, such as the concept of the candidate fields (Candidate Keys) and (Primary Keys) and foreign (Foreign Keys) through the relational model. It explains the concept of reliability and also offers normalization, its benefits and how to activate it.

- Know the basic components of the environment databases.
- Define the various schemes of the relational model
- Draw Display modeling Being Entity Relationship Modeling (ERM)
- Know relational model RM (Relational Model)
- Converse ERM to RM
- Identify constraints (Constraints) on the master key and foreign key
- clarify the impact of functional Dependencies
- clarify the process of normalization (Normalization).
- Create a database using SQL structured query language Structured Query Language
