Course Description
This course on Environmental Pollution will cover the following topics: the definition of environmental pollution, the effect of human beings on the environment, atmosphere and gas pollutants, identify the sources of atmospheric pollution, the water cycle and sources of water pollution and solutions, pollutants, desertification, erosion, medical pollutants, medical waste and methods of prevention and sound pollution, its sources and effect upon the environment and how to control it. Other topics include pesticide pollution, its effect upon the environment and prevention methods, solid and liquid wastes and their impact upon the environment and ways of recycling as well as the pollution of radioactive materials, its impact and ways of prevention.
