Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, hosts the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Summer Program 2021, through which promising students with talent and creativity receive advanced scientific knowledge and expertise that challenges their abilities and develops their skills.  The program provides students with the appropriate support for 84 male and 84 female students.

This year's scientific program is based on 8 enrichment tracks and units: (Biomedical sciences, Anatomy and physiology, Electrical engineering, Physics theory and practice, Cryptography and information security, Engineering design principles, Aeronautics and renewable energy).

The skill program also includes a number of training courses aimed at building the personal, psychological and social skills of the participants by engaging in skill development activities. Each layer of activities has characteristics and training methodology to facilitate certain needed skills; some activities depend on projects and others on community service, teamwork and individual ability. 

It is worth noting that the work team has completed the implementation of the preparation program and the field visit to the program sites and laboratories with the participation of 70 people in scientific and administrative supervision, skill training and volunteers, with full commitment to implementing the protocols for prevention of the Coronavirus.
