Under the Patronage of the Eastern Province Governor Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University will Launch “Inclusive Community 2025” Next Wednesday

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province — may God protect him — Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University is preparing to launch the “Inclusive Community 2025” event, as part of His Highness’s support for national initiatives that promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all members of society.

The event will take place on December 3–4, 2025, at the Supporting Deanships Building (D3), with broad participation from internal and external entities across government, private, and non-profit sectors. This joint effort aims to align initiatives that foster inclusivity and equal opportunities for all community members. The “Inclusive Community” event reflects the University’s commitment to its pioneering role in empowering and integrating students with disabilities and enhancing their academic and community engagement through a supportive environment that highlights their abilities and contributes to improving their quality of life.

The event will feature an interactive exhibition, advisory, educational, and recreational booths, in addition to workshops and awareness lectures offered to university members, students, and visitors from the public. These will address topics such as health, social inclusion, and vocational rehabilitation. The program includes a panel discussion showcasing inspiring success stories, empowerment programs within the labor market, as well as workshops in sign language and diving for people with disabilities. The event will also include interactive sports activities and competitions at the main field and sports hall on the university’s Eastern Campus, designed to raise awareness about the importance of sports for people with disabilities and to promote a culture of equality and community participation.

Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University affirms that the “Inclusive Community” event represents a national platform that highlights initiatives supporting persons with disabilities, strengthens partnerships for their empowerment, and contributes to building a society that embodies inclusion and equal opportunity — in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
