Biography

Prof. Yosra S. R. Elnaggar is a professor of pharmaceutics at college of Pharmacy-IAU. She is an internationally recognized expert in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and advanced drug delivery systems. She has authored over 66 Clarivate and Scopus -indexed publications and 3451 citations and holds multiple national and international patents. She is ranked among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide according to Stanford–Scopus rankings for 6 consequtive years. Her research focuses on Interdisciplinary translational pharmaceutical nano research yielding prototypes to enhance therapeutic efficacy, safety, and patient compliance across multiple disease areas. She is the founder and leader of the Interdisciplinary Nano Drug Delivery and Discovery (IND3) Research School. Prof. Elnaggar has participated in teaching 25 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 22 years. She supervised 25 Master’s and PhD theses in pharmaceutics and nanomedicine. - She is a peer reviewer and editorial board member for high-impact journals. She attained many awards. She registered 8 national patents and two US. Patents about prototypes in the field of translational pharmaceutical nanotechnology.
