About
The Forum for Innovative and Impactful University Teaching and Learning Practices at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University has been designed to provide a distinguished platform for showcasing and disseminating exceptional and innovative practices in higher education to the wider academic community. The forum features structured interactive discussion groups as well as formal presentation sessions delivered by faculty members recognized for their exemplary practices across diverse disciplines. The discussion groups are conducted concurrently, with participants organized into clusters of 4-6 faculty members under the guidance of an appointed moderator. Each group addresses a defined area of interest and formulates specific, actionable recommendations. In parallel, a series of sequential sessions is devoted to live presentations, during which participating faculty members deliver concise overviews of their distinguished practices, followed by interactive question-and-answer engagements with the audience. At the conclusion of the forum—spanning the duration of a full academic working day—the forum committee formally announces the principal recommendations that have emerged. The forum ultimately seeks to foster meaningful collaboration and scholarly exchange among faculty members, thereby promoting the circulation of innovative ideas and forward-looking perspectives that contribute to the continuous enhancement and advancement of university education.
