الملخص

البروفيسور زياد الزهور أكاديمي وباحث متميز ويعمل حاليا برتبة استاذ دكتور في الرياضيات التطبيقية في قسم العلوم الهندسية الأساسية / كلية الهندسة / جامعة الامام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل. خبرته الاكاديمية في التدريس الجامعي 18 سنة وله ما يزيد عن90 ورقة بحثية منشورة في مجلات ومؤتمرات علمية مرموقة ومحكمة ومفهرسة في قواعد البيانات: Scopus Web of Science . البروفيسور زياد الزهور حاصل على درجة الدكتوراة في الرياضيات التطبيقية من جامعة بوترا الماليزية في شهر يناير2007 بتقدير "ممتاز" مع مرتبة الشرف و درجة الماجستير في الرياضيات من جامعة ال البيت في شهر اكتوبر1997 بتقدير "جيد جد" ودرجة البكالوريس في الرياضيات من جامعة مؤته بتقدير "جيد جدا" /الأول على الدفعة مع مرتبة الشرف. حاز البروفيسور الزهور خلال مسيرته الاكاديمية والبحثية على العديد من الجوائز وشهادات التقدير والميداليات الذهبية على المستوى العالمي والاقليمي والمحلي اذكر منها: - شهادة تقدير – ضمن افضل 2% من العلماء على مستوى العالم في تصنيف Scopus حسب التصنيف العلمي في Stanford University and Elsevier Data.
- جائزة العالم المتميز في الرياضيات النطبيقية لعام 2018 على مستوى العالم مع درع وميدالية ذهبية من "مؤسسة فينوس الدولية"
- جائزة "الباحث المتميز" لمرات عديدة من جامعة بوترا الماليزية وجامعة الزرقاء و جامعة الامام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل
- جائزة "التميز في التدريس" لمرات عديدة من جامعة الزرقاء و جامعة الامام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل
-العديد من شهادات التقدير والجوتئز الذهبية والفضية من رؤوساء الجامعات وعمداء الكليات والمجلات العالمية والمؤتمرات العلمية. بالاضافه لعمل ا.د. الزهور الحالي في التدريس لمرحلتي البكالوريس والماجستير فقد:
- تم ترقيته لرتبة "استاذ مشارك" عام 2018 ثم تم ايضا ترقيته لرتبة "بروفيسور" عام 2022 من جامعة الامام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل.
- تولى رئاسة القسم في جامعة الزرقاء (2007-2010) ورئاسة القسم في جامعة الامام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل (2010-2016).
- رئاسة اللجان التحضيرية ومتحدث رئيسي لعشرات المؤتمرات الاقليمية والعالمية
-الاشراف على عدة رسائل ماجستير وممتحن خارجي لمناقشات طلبة الماجستير وممتحن خارجي لعدة ترقيات اعضاء هيئة التدريس .
-عضو نشط في هيئات التحرير ومحكم لأكثر من 40 مجلة علمية عالمية محكمة ومفهرسة في قواعد البيانات Scopus و WoS
-المشاركة في العديد من الدورات التدريبية و ورش العمل المحلية والاقليمية والعالمية. - المشاركة كرئيس وعضو في العديد من اللجان على مستوى الكلية والقسم. - - ممتحن خارجي لمناقشة رسائل ماجستير وترقيات اعضاء هيئة ندريس (جامعة البحرين وجامعة الزرقاء وجامعة البلقاء التطبيقية وجامعة الملك عبد العزيز وجامعة جدارا وغيرها).
