Security Unit
- Campus Security: Provide continuous protection for university buildings and branches 24/7, ensure security, and supervise security personnel compliance with instructions, regulations, and policies.
- Security Staff Supervision: Ensure security personnel adhere to relevant instructions/regulations.
- Coordination with the security authorities: Communicate with the concerned authorities to inform the security authorities about any incidents on campus/branches.
- Shift Organization: Monitor guard shifts and operations throughout the week, including official holidays.
- Vehicle Movement Monitoring: Verify vehicle entry/exit permits.
- Security Reports: Prepare detailed reports on incidents (thefts, fights, traffic accidents) and refer them to the competent authorities.
- Company Staff Supervision: Oversee company and institution workers within the university and ensure compliance with rules.
- First Aid: Coordinate with the university’s Family and Community Medical Center ambulance service to transfer injured persons.
Traffic and violations Unit
- Traffic Regulation: Control traffic flow within the campus to prevent congestion and ensure smooth flow of vehicles movement.
- Parking Management: Organize parking and ensure smooth traffic flow in the university/branches.
- Accident Handling: Deal with traffic accidents and record violations.
- Event Traffic Management: Manage traffic during events such as seminars and graduation ceremonies.
- Violation Recording: Document students’ traffic violations, staff, and visitors in the security system.
- Fines Collection: Collect fines according to rules/regulations and transfer them to the relevant authorities.
- Refer Repeated Violations: Refer recurring offenders to the relevant authorities for follow-up.
Follow-up unit
- Maintain order: Ensure utmost discipline within the University and its facilities.
- Address issues: Promptly intervene in any problems that arise within the University, be it reported or flagged by the Security Department.
- Coordination with the concerned authorities: Cooperation with the relevant departments and security authorities outside the university to ensure implementation of legal procedures.
- Theft Investigation: Investigate theft cases, identify responsible parties, and record lost items until handed over to concerned authorities.
Control and Monitoring Unit
- Vehicle Entry/Exit Monitoring: Record vehicle movements at main gates.
- Report Reception: Log incoming reports and take necessary actions daily in coordination with management.
- Supervisor Communication: Communicate with security teams via wireless devices during emergencies.
- Camera Surveillance: Monitor locations covered by surveillance screens.
- Observation Reporting: Inform security supervisors of any issues detected through surveillance cameras for appropriate action.
University Card issuance Unit
- Card Issuance: Issue university cards to students, staff, and contractors.
- Periodic Follow-up: Ensure all colleges, centers, and branches have valid identification cards.
- Technical Support: Provide logistical and technical support to card sections, supplying materials. (cards, cartridges, ink, etc.)
Vehicle permit Unit
- Permit Issuance: Register/print vehicle permits in the system.
- Sticker Placement: Attach numbered stickers to vehicles belonging to university staff, branches, and residential complexes.
Security Services Unit
- Key Duplication: Make backup copies of building keys and store them securely.
- New Key Delivery: Hand in new building keys to responsible authorities.
- Master Key: Retain a master key for all university buildings.
