University President’s list of distinguished researchers is an annual list issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research, in its belief in the importance of the appreciation of distinguished researchers at the university.
Tracks
University President’s list of distinguished researchers is issued through four different tracks: where the first track is highlighting the faculty members or researchers with the highest publications according to the college, the second track represents the faculty members or researchers with the highest publications according to the track, and the third track focuses on the top 10 published researchers at the university, and for the fourth track, which represents the top 10 most cited researchers in the last six years at the university.
Criteria
University President’s list of distinguished researchers adheres to several criteria:
- Affiliation for all research papers to Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University exclusively.
- Research has been published in scientific journals classified under Q1/Q2 in Scopus.
- Papers published during the academic year (2020) are only counted and not less than 4 publications.
- If two or more researchers have the same number of research papers, the researcher that has the highest h-index in Scopus database will be selected.
