Fellowship In Orthopedic

Overview

The IAU Orthopaedic Residency Program is a 5-year residency training program, which is structured to build safe general orthopedic surgeons, including orthopaedic trauma and orthopaedic sub-specialties. The program, nurtures residents on the foundation of basic sciences and then gradually integrates the multiple orthopaedic sub-specialities, putting into considerations the local and international incidences of the related diseases.

The program is under the umbrella of the College of Medicine in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, with the main training center being King Fahad Hospital of the University in Alkhobar.

• MBBS Degree, from IAU or an university recognized by IAU.
• Completion of Internship training from IAU or an institution recognized by IAU.
• Medical fitness.
• Good Conduct.
• Medical registration or valid document from employer testifying good standing.
• Not less than two letters of recommendation from faculty or consultants that the student has previously worked with.
• Letter of consent to join program from employer.
• The applicant must pass the admission test and the personal interview.
• ATLS, ACLS, BLS
