The department provides the following services:
Nucleic Acid Vaccine Laboratory (NAVL)
- Development of innovative vaccine approaches and applying these technologies towards other ranges of emerging pathogens, epidemic diseases, and for pandemic preparedness.
- Understanding the antigenic landscape of virus surface glycoproteins
- Preclinical and clinical evaluation of novel vaccine candidates.
Clinical Biomanufacturing Unit (CBMU)
- Process development for Pre-GMP manufacturing.
- Manufacturing optimizations to improve the production yield of vaccines and biologics.
- Early phase I/II GMP manufacturing for vaccines and other biologics.
Molecular Microbiology Laboratory
- Evaluating antimicrobial activities: antibiofilm and virulence, microbial culture characterization, DNA/RNA isolation, biofilms analysis, anti-quorum sensing activity, and regional antibiotic resistance patterns.
- Synthesis of eco-sustainable green nanomaterials and their application in medicine.
