About the Forum for Innovative and Impactful Teaching and Learning Practices
The "Forum for Innovative and Impactful Teaching and Learning Practices" at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University aims to showcase and share exceptional and innovative practices in university education with the academic community. The forum included interactive discussion groups and live presentation sessions by faculty members with outstanding teaching practices from various disciplines. The discussion groups were organized concurrently, with each session lasting 45 minutes. Participants were divided into groups of 5-7 faculty members, led by a group moderator. Each group focused on a specific area and concluded by sharing relevant recommendations. The forum also featured a series of consecutive live presentation sessions, where participating faculty members provided brief overviews of their distinguished practices, followed by interactive Q&A sessions with the audience. At the end of the forum, which was held for a full working day, the forum committee presented the most significant recommendations. The forum seeks to enhance collaboration and interaction among faculty members, encouraging the exchange of ideas and innovative insights that contribute to the development and improvement of the educational process.
