The following are people who have studied at the university. It is by no means exhaustive; corrections and suggestions for further additions are welcome by filling the following form.
Dhi Mashal Al-Otaibi
Academic Excellence:
Published a study titled “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Its Relationship to Juvenile Delinquency in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Her published research received the Award for Excellence in Scientific Publicationduring the First College of Education Graduate Studies Exhibition at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in 1441 AH.
She also presented her paper at the Scientific Forum for Learning Disabilities Teachers, organized by the General Education Department during the Gulf Learning Disabilities Day (1441–1442 AH).
Professional Achievements:
Works as a Developmental Kindergarten Teacher at the Royal Commission in Jubail. She supervises and teaches in two kindergartens, monitoring all educational and behavioral cases. She has consistently received excellent performance ratings and won second place in the Special Education Innovation Award organized by the Royal Commission.
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Appointed by HRH Prince Ahmed bin Fahd as a member of the Eastern Province Youth Council in Jubail, where she contributed to youth engagement initiatives. She moderated a panel discussion titled “Volunteering” attended by key regional officials and youth, including persons with disabilities and media representatives. She has also been an active organizer in the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for five consecutive years.
Zainab Ali Al-Saeed
Academic Excellence:
Published a study titled “The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Learning Through Play in Enhancing Academic Achievement Among Elementary School Girls with Learning Disabilities.”
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Launched a free volunteer-based educational program for students with learning difficulties from orphan and low-income backgrounds. The program benefited around 16 students from various schools, including Al-Yarmouk School.
Sabrin Ahmed Al-Awatham
Academic Excellence:
Published a study titled “Emotional Intelligence and Its Relationship to Friendship Formation Among Female Students with Learning Disabilities from Their Teachers’ Perspectives.”
Presented her research as a poster at the Second Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in 2024.
Professional Achievements:
Currently works as a Special Education Teacher (Intellectual Education Program) in the Eastern Province Education Department. She initiated the “Al-Mu’een for Educational Goals” project to improve the quality of individualized educational plans, thereby enhancing student learning outcomes.
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Volunteered in organizing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in collaboration with the Eastern Province Education Department and Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
Hajar Hawas Al-Shammari
Academic Excellence:
Published a study titled “Differences in the Pattern of Control of the Cerebral Hemisphere’s Functions Between Female Ordinary and Dyslexia Students in Intermediate Stages.”
Presented her research as a poster at the Second Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in 2024.
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Co-founded the volunteer team “Daw’ (Light)” on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Through this initiative, she led various volunteer efforts at places like Saudi German Hospital and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
She also co-authored the “Comprehensive Guide for Persons with Disabilities in the Eastern Province” and the “Diagnostic Scales for Learning Disabilities Guide,” which was nominated for the 9th Learning Disabilities Excellence Award (2023) under the Learning Disabilities Charitable Association.
Munirah Jasim Al-Sudairy
Academic Excellence:
Published a study titled “Parental Treatment Methods and Their Relationship to Behavioral Problems Among Students with Learning Disabilities” (2020).
Authored a book titled “Assessment and Diagnosis in the Educational System,”emphasizing the importance of diagnostic processes in identifying students with disabilities.
She has also published several articles on the Muddad Platform for Disability Support Services, including:
- “Using the Six Thinking Hats Strategy in Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities”
- “The Transition Plan for Students with Learning Disabilities”
- “Behavioral and Emotional Disorders”
- “The Individualized Educational Plan”
Additionally, she published “Response to Intervention: Between Reality and Aspiration” in Jester Cultural Magazine.
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Co-founded the “Daw’ (Light)” volunteer team on X, contributing to several volunteer projects in hospitals, airports, and disability support programs.
She also participated in the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
Manal Ghrm Allah Al-Ghamdi
Professional Achievements:
Founder and owner of “Meem Center for Learning Difficulties and Early Childhood,” located in Al-Khobar and licensed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The center, established in 2023, provides educational and therapeutic services for children with special needs.
Community Service and Volunteer Work:
Allocated free seats in her center for orphans and children of martyrs, offering special education services to 12 children since 2023.
