In line with the Kingdom's vision to improve health, prevent infectious and chronic diseases and injuries, and to prolong life, the program seeks to qualify students to become health experts, health educators and public health professionals. It also prepares graduates to work in the public and private sectors in the areas of public health, environmental health, health management, epidemiology and biostatistics, and health policy and planning.

Objectives

At the completion of the MPH/ HCM degree, the student will be able to:

1. Utilize data to effectively organize and coordinate the performance and activities of a healthcare organization in order to achieve defined objectives. (Management)

3. Consider the business, demographic, cultural, political, and regulatory factors in developing strategies that continually improve the long-term success and viability of healthcare organizations. (Strategic Management)
4. Use financial and accounting information to assess the financial health of an organization, to inform short-term operational decisions and to assess long-term resource allocation opportunities. (Financial Skills)
