Introduction:
Girls Central Library (Female campus) is opened for students in a hi-tech, purpose built two story building at the heart of the old campus of Imam AbdulRahman Bin Faisal University. This library currently holds about 75.240 printed items on various subjects.
Technical Services :
The library's collections were arranged by The Library of Congress classification, and it can be searched electronically through the OPAC (the Online Public Access catalog) in IAU's website, also the library's electronic resources could be search through the "e-Resources Portal” and all kinds of different sources could be found through the Unified Search engine "Summon", Finally, university thesis and researches could be found in the University's depository.
Services & Facilities:
The girls Central Library (female campus) offers a wide range of services for its users both on and off campus, including the following:
- Reading areas for users.
- Books circulation and reservation services through the circulation desk and/or self-check-in & check-out.
- Interlibrary loan services within IAU libraries.
- Physical or virtual reference services i.e. face to face, online chat, email
- Online and OPAC searching
- Electronic Resources search through E-Resources portal
- Reprographic Services i.e. Digital Imaging and Photocopying
- Current awareness and SDI services.
- Information Literacy workshops and sessions either for freshman or other users
- Research and Citation Assistance Services
- Computer labs for teaching, searching and browsing, Wi-Fi and assistance in device connectivity and technical support
- Group study rooms for academic and research purposes
- Group discussion rooms (glass) fitted with a screen (LCD) to display educational materials and demonstration for students.
- Facility support ILRC programs and special events in the University.
- Provide transportation services to and from the library during its working hours

Goals:
To support the Deanship of Library Affairs’ Mission and Vision, the Girls' central library (female campus) is aspiring to achieve the following goals:
- Provide information for students and researchers of all Colleges that the library serves by:
- Assisting in researches related to the curriculum.
- Providing access to information resources.
- Building appropriate search strategies.
- Clarifying ethical use of information.
- Effectively use library resources and technologies for all IAU Affiliation: undergraduates, graduates, researchers and faculty members, to achieve their teaching and scientific research objectives.
- Collect, organize and provide access to all printed and electronic materials to support all teaching curriculum and serve teaching processes and learning for all IAU Affiliation
- Create and maintain user-suitable environment for individual and group studying to exchange ideas and for teaching and collaborative learning.
- Preparing and training a library staff to be highly skilled to provide information about all the technology services.
- Provide services to IAU non-affiliated persons, according to the University's agreed upon regulations.
