Supervisory Unit for Postgraduate Programs

Follow-up and supervise the conduct of graduate programs at the college.

Graduate Unit

Tasks of the Graduate Studies Committee, Faculty of Education

1.  Follow-up and review of thesis and dissertations to be in accordance with the regulations.
2. Follow-up extension for research periods for researchers after the approval of scientific departments.
3.  Follow up the formation of scientific committees for discussions (Viva committee).
4. Approve the names of the graduates and complete the granting of degree.
5. Review the graduate programs for updates, and ensure the compatibility of the regulations with the Guide of the graduate programs at the University
6.  Supervise the  admission process for postgraduate programs.
7. Submit the recommendations of the Committee to the Dean of the College or the College Council after the approval of scientific departments to complete the submission of applications to the competent body.
8. Other tasks assigned to graduate studies.

Programs Unit

To review the graduate studies programs provided for updates and to make sure they conform to the regulations of the guide for the Post Graduate Programs at the University. It also reviews the recommendations of the Committee for the Development of Graduate Studies Programs at the Faculty of Education.

Teacher Preparation Unit

Supervise and follow-up the teacher preparation programs as reported in the executive framework to determine the programs in light of the study and tests regulations for the undergraduate and the unified regulations of graduate studies in universities. It keeps this in the light of the plan prepared by the vice deanship of the college to develop programs and prepare teacher plans.

Academic Guidance Unit for Postgraduate Students

This unit is concerned with the necessity of academic guidance and the necessary support for the student during the academic career in order to achieve the flow of the learning plan and the duration of the study and the completion of the requirements of the plan within the time specified and building the self-confidence among students in accordance with the objectives of the programs.

Research and Scientific Publishing Unit

 The Research and Scientific Publishing Unit aims to develop the scientific publishing process in the faculty by following up the establishment of a research map for the faculty in cooperation with the academic departments and developing the joint scientific publishing process for postgraduate students and members. An important step is to strengthen the work of research partnerships internally and externally and to develop cooperation between the faculty and the university in all aspects of faculty members and their research achievements.

Scholarship Unit

To list the number of scholarships to the college and follow up their cases and communicate with the concerned departments on the completion of their data and prepare a comprehensive report periodically.

Human resources

Follow up with the need of the college for faculty staff and researchers in various fields as well as ending contracts and transferring cases.

Students Excuses Unit

This unit looks at the excuses of students when they are absent and consider them carefully. The rules and regulations are clearly stated on the website and how to submit applications to the committee

Examinations and Tim table Committee

Taking care of the timetables and final examinations in cooperation with concerned departments to select the courses for each term and posting them on student information system
